Pioneer Day Weekend at Sky Ranch

To avoid the long and complicated explanation of the connections I'll just say we were invited by the McSweeney's to spend Pioneer Day weekend in Hurricane, UT at this "cozy little shack" in a neighborhood called Sky Ranch. It's termed an "Airport Community" because there is a runway in the middle of the neighborhood and people can just fly their personal airplanes in and taxi them up to their own houses! Yeah, what a life, huh? We always love staying with the McSweeney family and we always have a blast with them. Thanks again for the invite, you guys! We love you all!!

I'll just narrate the pictures as we go. Get ready for LOTS of pictures of our FUN!!

On our way down, we drove past a field that had 3 dirt devils in it...it was pretty cool. Sorry the picture isn't better.

We were SOOOO glad we weren't headed north on I-15...a semi had exploded and traffic was at a dead stop for at least 3 miles!! It was amazing!!
(You can see the smoldering semi trailer on the right hand side of the picture.)

This was the first time we noticed the 80 mph speed limit on portions of the drive!! Yay!!

We spent TONS of time swimming!!
(I love how J is trying to give me a high-five...I'm obviously preoccupied! ;)

These next few pictures pretty much speak for themselves, but I had to post all of them so you could get the feel of what happened :)
