DARWIN is on his 12th year of teaching, currently at Springville High School teaching astronomy, geology, environmental science, and physics. He also teaches physics at UVU for a 7 week STEM summer school program for junior high students. He also teaches teenagers in our church ward. He's super busy, but still makes time to be an awesome dad and husband.
We all know I'm not a fan of how quickly time passes. Our little guy is 7 months old already! What?!

At SEVEN months:
-I mentioned this in his last post, but he has two teeth! His first two teeth came in on the same day (Sept. 14th). Ouch! He was so pleasant though that we didn't realize how close there were to coming through. He's such a great baby!
-He's starting to get some "stranger danger".
-He is starting to recognize his name when he hears us say Talmage.
-He reaches for Mom every time I come into the room where he is. Especially if he's hungry!
-He really likes Gerber puffs and will drink from a sippy. Yay! (He still won't take a bottle, but we're grateful he'll take a sippy with water or juice.)
-He thinks his sisters are pretty hilarious sometimes.
-He's doing much better with sleeping at night. He usually wakes up once to eat and goes right back to sleep in his crib when he's done.
-He's napping better during the day too, although most days he should be napping longer than he tends to.
-He doesn't like to be left alone in a room and prefers to be right in the middle of whatever everyone else is doing.
-He loves playing with toys and always needs to have something in his hands.
-He's starting to roll more and learning how to get himself around the room to where he wants to be.
-He can definitely sit on his own now but still tips over on accident sometimes.
-He LOVES to play peek-a-boo and pat-a-cake.
-Talmage is such a pleasant baby and such a joy to be around.
Seven month photo shoot. He wasn't at all happy for me to be taking pictures of him at first. But he warmed up to it :)

At 7.5 months old he has FINALLY started taking a binky! Happy day!
The girls decided it would be fun to join him in his crib one morning. Silly girls :)
We took the girls out to eat at CPK one night because we hadn't taken them out in a while. Talmage made himself at home and got cozy with a sippy :)
When he's drinking a sippy in the bumbo he always leans way over one side or tips as far back as he can. Silly kid!

Rori started throwing a balloon at him. He thought it was pretty hilarious :)
Sporting his Jack Skellington bib for Halloween season! The girls LOVED it everything he had this bib on.

I mentioned that we've had ample opportunity to rake leaves this year. I raked the front yard by myself a couple of times. One day we were outside raking leaves when Daddy got home from work and it was a little bit chilly so Daddy shared his warm jacket with Talmage :)
So cozy and warm!
Aurora made crowns for all of us one day. She even made a tiny little crown for Talmage. He actually really liked it! I was really impressed that he kept it on his head for as long as he did.
