Cherry Pickers

We're loving all the fresh fruit and veggies we're getting this year.  When the cherries finally became ripe enough to eat, the girls were really enthusiastic about helping to pick them, at least until they decided they were done helping :)

Savy got bored of helping pick cherries after a while and went to jump on the trampoline instead.  She deserved it after all her hard work!

So much fun to enjoy home grown fruits and veggies.  Can't get any better than that!

Sister Sleepover

June 15, 2016 - Sister Sleepover

Our girls like to have "sleepovers".  Sometimes it's in their princess tent, and sometimes they just snuggle up together in Savannah's big girl bed.  I love that they're such great friends (most of the time) and love spending time together.

Art City Days

We look forward to Art City Days every year.  Traditions are fun!

June 7, 2016 - Art City Days Carnival
We decided to take our kids to the carnival on the cheaper ticket night and meet up with our Aussies.  It was pretty packed, but the girls still had a lot of fun.  A couple of times I went to stand in line for the next ride while they finished up on the ride they were on.  It seemed to work out okay.

Darwin, Aurora, and Savannah came down the giant slide on the same mat. Mr. P came down by himself.
I didn't realize I was shooting in black and white to start with.  Our camera is new and I'm still trying to figure out the settings :)

I'm glad they're old enough to think it's fun now :)  Mr. P was 2 sections behind them.

When we were done with rides, we walked around the booths.  The kids loved the gymnastics booth and it was hard to get them away from the trampoline.

Daddy took them to the carnival another day to finish up their tickets. Both girls came home with their faces painted so beautifully!

July 10, 2016 - Parade and Fireworks
With Talmage being so little and Art City Days going on during my first week back at work, Darwin took the girls to the parade while Talmage and I stayed home.  Thank goodness for cameras! :)

Later that night we decided to put our kids to bed rather than take them to the fireworks.  Luckily for us we're living pretty close to the high school where they shoot them off so Darwin and I got to watch the fireworks from inside our cozy house while all of our kids were snoozing (minus Talmage--I had to walk around the house with him to get him to sleep while the fireworks were going off).



Happy Art City Days!

06.08.16 - 3 months old!

I know I always say it, but it's because I really mean it.  Time flies too fast.  My babies don't stay small long enough.  Just sayin'.  I love newborn stage and it just doesn't last long enough!  Our little Talley-man is 3 months old already!

At THREE months:

-He's starting to fill out a bit more from where he was at a month ago.

-We noticed he has a dark spot on the cornea of his left eye right at the edge of his iris.  Darwin thinks it's a freckle.  It's weird though because it's definitely on the surface of his eye but it doesn't move.

-His hair and eyelashes are getting slightly darker.

-He's starting to fall asleep faster at night when he wakes up to eat, which I am certainly grateful for!

-He doesn't nap very well during the day and naps best in his swing with it moving, or in my arms.

-He's super ticklish and it's pretty easy to make him laugh.

-His giggle is adorable!

-He makes the best baby sounds too :)

-He got to meet his great-grandparents, Omie and Grandpa, who were here from NY for his baby blessing.

-He thinks that getting his diaper changed is pretty funny but he laughs the most when we change his clothes because his sides and armpits are so ticklish!

-He still won't take a bottle or a binky so he sucks on his hand or a couple of fingers to sooth himself.

-He is completely adored by his sisters and parents. :)

-Talmage is adorable.  No doubt about it!

He's the most adorable baby boy I've ever seen!  I might be slightly biased. ;)


He fell asleep on his own in the girls room one morning.

I got these cute sandals as hand-me-downs from a friend who has 3 boys. We've gotten so many compliments on them.  Savannah calls them his "Jesus sandals" :)
