I hate how behind I am with my blogging, and I hope you can bear with me, but blogging is honestly usually at the bottom of my priority list right now. Sometimes it's a toss-up between taking a nap, getting stuff done around the house, and then maybe blogging in my little bit of free time. Oh, well. These little kiddos and my increase in sleep deprivation are so worth it! Savannah really is a good sleeper but I still feel tired most days and I love when my nap wins out, minus being behind in the things I'd like to get done. Such is life with a newborn :)
So, on to our Easter 2013 post!
Our little miss Savannah was only a week old when Easter came around this year. I had some mixed emotions at Easter this year because Nastassia came and went the day before Easter last year so I can't help but feel a little sad at Easter time. But, our little Nastassia is such an amazing reminder of our Savior's Resurrection when Easter comes around. We thought a lot about Nastassia and wished we had her here with us, but honestly, if she were here we wouldn't have Savannah with us now. Man, life is crazy! We love our sweet Savannah so much and I'm so glad I had her here to hold and snuggle as I shed a few tears for Nastassia at Easter time and on her birthday. I can't believe it's been a whole year since we held her tiny little body in our hands. How grateful I am for that tiny little body and her spirit and the impact it has made in our lives!
The morning before Easter Rori woke up with some awesome shark fin hair from her "do" the day before. This is her growly shark face to go along with her awesome hair :)
The day before Easter our ward had an Easter party and egg hunt. Darwin took Aurora while I stayed home with Vannah. Dar said Rori didn't really know what to do with the eggs, but finally got the gist after a while. She didn't really care for the eggs but was excited when she realized there was candy inside!
Saturday afternoon we dyed Easter eggs. Rori thought it was pretty awesome :)
We snacked on jelly beans while we dyed our eggs--delish!
Savannah hanging out in the bassinet
Aurora said "Oooo!" every single time Dar helped her drop an egg in the dye. It was pretty cute.
Savannah and I mostly just watched :)
Our pretty eggs
Putting stickers on after the eggs dried
Giving her egg a hug after telling us, "I lub it!" Cute girl.
Helping Daddy peal an egg because she couldn't wait to eat one.
As far as we can tell she has grown out of her egg allergy, but she doesn't like them, so she fed the egg to Daddy :)
Easter Sunday!

My cuties all ready for church!
Our little Easter bunny :)
The Easter bunny came while Rori and Daddy were at church. What a fun surprise to come home to!
We had a big family dinner at my cousin's house with all of my family. It was really nice to see everyone and show off our brand new baby, but we didn't let anyone hold Savannah. We wanted to be safe and make sure she wouldn't get sick.
HAPPY EASTER!
Even if it is a little bit late :)
