With trying to get caught up, I'm going to try to get a bunch of our March stuff into one post and leave the most important stuff to their own posts. So, here goes!
March 2nd
We had Stake Conference the first Sunday in March so we had earlier church than normal, which I absolutely loved! After some nice naps after conference we took advantage of the warmer weather and went on a Sunday walk. There's a small park behind our church and it was a must for the girls that day.
Still wearing her bike helmet :)
I love her scrunched nose face :)
Teeter-Totter! Daddy and Savannah were on one end with Mommy and Aurora on the other.
They almost balance perfectly! :)
Vannah loved the swing!
She's getting so big!
But of course she wanted to swing in the baby swing like Savannah :)
Swinging with my baby.
It's a bit blurry, but I love that girl's smile! Even with the plug in her mouth she has a beautiful smile! :)
Had enough and ready to go home!
March 9th
Sometimes I think I let our girls watch too much TV, and then other times I tell myself to not beat myself up about it--it just depends on the day, I guess. I can't help but think it's cute to watch them watch TV when they're so cozy on the couch though :)
March 17th
St. Patrick's Day was pretty uneventful for us, but of course we had fun with our green that day!
Aurora got to have green milk with her cereal!
Savannah's 1st St. Patrick's Day!
I think she's a cutie :)
Our cute girls in their green!
I love her genuine smile!
vs this smile :)
She's still cute though.
Rori "reading" one of Savannah's new birthday books to her. They like to look at books together sometimes--when they're both willing to sit and share.
Savy attempting to roar like a lion.
I'm glad they like books!
March 21st
We got to have Daddy home with us an extra day last week! It's always nice when he gets to be home with us more. It was nice to stay in our jammies for a good part of the day and just relax and enjoy being together. We planned to go get started on our garden that day, but it didn't happen, and that's totally okay! :)
Aurora found some pool floaty toys that Daddy blew up for them. They had a great time playing on them for a while.
Trying to brush that crazy morning hair out of her face. I love Aurora's crazy morning hair :)
Savy singing to me in her tube
This girl gives some great crusty faces!
Savannah recently discovered the fun-ness of typing on the computer :)
Her other new favorite thing is for us to spin her around and around in our office chair. It's pretty cute :)
March 23rd
We had two pretty sick girls last weekend. Aurora got sick Friday night and it lasted through Tuesday. Savannah woke up sick on Sunday, but luckily it didn't hit her as hard or last as long. I couldn't help but take pictures of our sick girls though. Poor little things.
We sure are glad they're feeling better!!

Grandma and Grandpa got Savannah a forward facing car seat for her birthday (birthday posts to come later). The recommendation now is that babies stay rear facing until their two. We have two problems with that--Savannah is getting too big for her infant carrier, and our car is too small to have a bigger car seat installed rear facing. So, even though our munchkin just turned one she's already bigger (but younger) than Aurora was when we turned her around and we decided to take the plunge. She's such a happy girl in the car anyway, but she's even happier now! Friday was her first time riding in the car facing forward.
Aurora was pretty happy about Savannah's new seat too :)
That afternoon before Daddy came home, the girls had some fun playing around together and I took pictures. I love those tender moments so much! :)
Then Aurora wanted a turn taking pictures too. Random as they are, I can't help posting some of them :)
She's excited about the tiny green leaves growing on the tree outside Savannah's bedroom window.
She likes to take pictures of her piggies.
Other March Randoms:
Aurora loves to dress up. She makes such a cute little princess--even when she's being goofy. Every time I tried to take a picture she'd do the same silly pose.
Still thinking of Dad's cousin Julie. :)
My parents gave us some Christmas money to buy something special for ourselves. I thought it was going to be FedEx'd to our house, but I ended up having to go pick it up from the post office. We definitely need a bigger car. It wouldn't fit in our trunk and I barely got it to fit in the front seat. Dar didn't know what I ordered, so it was a fun surprise for him to come home to. We love our new wall decor. Thanks, Mom and Dad!
Savannah loved playing with the boxes and cardboard.
I think that pretty much covers March. Watch for Savannah's birthday update and party posts to come!
