Monday was the day we had to say goodbye to all of our family that was in town for the weekend. It was also the day I started back at work after being on 12 (almost 13) weeks of maternity leave. My time off of work was wonderful! It was a bit of a sad day, to say the least.

Getting one last hug from Aunt Georgiana. It was so nice to have you here, Geo!
And one last picture with Grandma and Grandpa
Plus a silly one too :)
Hugs!
That night Omie and Grandpa took us to dinner before heading back home to NY. The kids and I were fortunate enough to drive them up to my parents house the next day before their flight home though. It was a nice unexpected surprise for us to have a little bit more time with them!
Aurora and Omie after dinner
Our family with Omie and Grandpa
With our kidlets :)
Silly Aurora
It really was so, so nice to have so many family members in town for a few days. It was especially great to see Omie and Grandpa who we hadn't seen in person since Aurora was a baby. (I realized this was their first time meeting Savannah in person too and wished we had gotten a picture of her alone with them. That's on the priority list for their next trip out here!)
Thanks to everyone who made the effort to be a part of Talmage's blessing day. We are so grateful for the loving support system we have around us--near and far. We love you all!
