Believe it or not, it has been 4 years since Nastassia was born. In some ways, it feels like it was yesterday. Not a day goes by that I don't think about her still. There are so many things that happen in our everyday lives that remind me of her and I long to be with her again some day!
We were so lucky to have Daddy home with us all day for Nastassia Day again this year because he was home for spring break. We packed up a yummy lunch and took the girls to a park to play for a while.
After lunch, they played with the bubble wands they got for Easter
Happy girls! :)
Savy - just hanging out!
Climbing up a slide
It made me a little nervous to watch her climb up this ladder, but she did it just fine.
Silly kid wanted to sit in the baby swing, probably because it was the only one available at the time.
Aurora stayed on the swing for a long time. She's working on learning how to pump her legs.
Balancing!
She made a new friend who followed her around the playground for a while.
Savy running through the grass
We stayed at the park for a couple of hours and then came home to make cupcakes to honor Nastassia's birthday.
We sang "Happy Birthday" to her
And the girls got to blow out some candles for her too.
This is Nastassia's nectarine tree in the back yard. The blossoms looked so beautiful!
It's always nice to take a family day and set it aside to honor our little angel baby. She is in our hearts every single day.
We love you, Nastassia Grace!
