Toothless.

I feel like we've hit a big milestone in our parenting.
Our oldest child has lost her first tooth!

On April 11th, Aurora started really complaining about her tooth hurting.  It started at lunch time when she was eating a baby carrot.  She kept complaining about it.  A lot.  I didn't really think it was time for her to lose a tooth, and it looked to me like she may have chipped it, but sure enough...it was loose!  Over the next few days she wiggled it more and more until on April 21st around 10:00am she pulled it out all by herself!  I was so proud of her for being so brave!  She was so proud of herself and I was glad that Daddy didn't pull it out the night before so she had the chance to do it herself!  She was also very excited that she can still whistle just fine with her tooth missing :)

She put her tooth in our special Tooth Fairy pillow.

She was very excited when she woke up the next morning and found that the Tooth Fairy had given her a dollar for her tooth!

Congratulations, darling!
