August 2nd was a fun day at our house.
The girls rode bikes and then came in the house to snuggle with Talmage because honestly...who can resist snuggling with that cute little man?!
Talmage ate some pretty awesome pureed baby food :)
Love this kid!
Look at those cute little piggies!

...Savannah helped Dad mow the lawn.
...Aurora practiced washing dishes.
...the girls took a bubble bath and made fun bubble faces.
...and Talmage got to hang out in the pink bouncer because only tough guys sit in pink chairs ;)
OTHER RANDOMS
The girls.
Aurora has had a lot of loose teeth all of a sudden. Because of her loose teeth right in the front she has been biting her food with her side teeth. It makes meal time interesting for her.
She woke up one morning with a wickedly large bug bite on her knee. We watched it closely to make sure it didn't get worse and luckily it got better pretty quickly within a couple of days.
Aurora discovered how cool it is to make big googly eyes with water :)
Savannah fell asleep snuggling her big horse one night. It was pretty cute :)
Savy gets eczema and tells us the mosquitoes are eating her. Poor kid :(
She's getting really good at coloring and was so proud of this beautiful horse she colored. Great job, Sav!
Aurora's new sling shot.
Aurora picked a horse shaped sling shot as her souvenir from Bluff Fort. She's had a lot of fun shooting dried out marshmallows around the yard.
Reloading.
She thought it was fun to shoot some into the street--but not at cars of course.
Sunday.
Sunday is my favorite day of the week. We get a lot more family time on Sunday than any other day because we intentionally set aside our work and focus on our Savior and each other. Sunday's are the best!
Talmage loves playing in the exersaucer.
We always make a yummy meal with yummy dessert on Sunday's. On the menu was homemade peach cobbler with peaches we picked in the back yard. Divine! It's a super bonus that I have such a willing hubby who helps out with my every request. This time it was to prep the peaches. He really is the best hubby ever!
And look how happy he is about helping out. How did I get so blessed to have this amazing man in my life?
Savannah was happy to be our taste-tester :)
It's hard to beat the deliciousness of fresh peaches!
At home with Dad.
I started back at work in June and my at-work meetings have started up again recently. Darwin was able to be home with the kids one day while I went up to work for a meeting. He's way more fun than I am and I love coming home to hear what fun things Dad let the kids do while I was gone.
Aurora got to feed Talmage all by herself.
She loves her baby brother so very much!
Kisses! He really gives some pretty awesome kisses right now! :)
Chin kisses. Haha!
Pictures with Alcie.
My cousin and her family are living in Japan right now. We were lucky enough to pick them up at the airport when they came back to visit for a few weeks though. Alice "we all call her Alcie" is one of our favorite babysitters. She's really pretty awesome and our girls completely adore her. We're super sad that when they move back from Japan they won't be living close to us anymore. We had a family dinner with them before they headed back to Japan and the kids had a great time taking selfies with Alcie for a while.
Talmage joined in on the fun.
I love that Talmage is going cross-eyed looking at Aurora's finger in this one :)
Princess Savannah.
Savannah is a crack-up. We love the funny stuff she does and says. This one day she decided she was a princess.
A silly princess. Of course!
Kisses!
Her tiara slipped so she made a ducky lip face :)
Hanging out on the hammock.
It's always good times when we can relax and/or just be silly together on the hammock :)
I think our sweet Talmage wonders sometimes about this crazy family he joined :)
Silly kidlets!
The girls love when we let them hold Talmage before he goes to bed.
Talmage thought Aurora's blanket was pretty fun.
So silly.
Yummo!
Savy insisted we take some pictures of them in her bed too :)
Talmage can only handle so much, but he's a good sport to put up with his sisters silliness for a little while :)
Having fun outside.
Riding bikes has definitely been a favorite activity this summer. Talmage has even gotten in on the fun!
She loves that she can ride a big bike without training wheels now. Freedom!
Savy zooming past!
She's really fast on her strider bike!
This is Dad's relaxation time :)
Talmage enjoys the relaxation time with Dad too!
Such a little cutie!
Aurora thinks it's pretty fun to do tricks on her bike too!
"Hey, Mom! Can you see me?" Haha!
Aurora says: "I love my bike so much! I'm going to give her a hug,"
Savy: "I love my bike too!"
August has definitely been a fun month for us! We love summertime!
