DARWIN is on his 12th year of teaching, currently at Springville High School teaching astronomy, geology, environmental science, and physics. He also teaches physics at UVU for a 7 week STEM summer school program for junior high students. He also teaches teenagers in our church ward. He's super busy, but still makes time to be an awesome dad and husband.
Aurora started kindergarten on Wednesday! We can't believe our little Aurora is old enough to start kindergarten, but she is! I've had mixed emotions about her going, but overall we've all been excited about it and looking forward to it. Aurora especially has been excited about it!
We applied for open enrollment to get her into a different elementary school so she can have a really awesome friend of ours from our ward in Springville as her kindergarten teacher. I think it's great that she can start kindergarten in the class of someone she already knows. We're looking forward to a great school year!

She was given homework to complete before school even started! She got to fill out and color this big poster with things about her and bring it with her on the first day. She had to put a picture of herself and a picture of our family on it. It was a lot of coloring and took her a couple days to complete it, but she did it and had a lot of fun with it too :)
And it's never complete without a silly face picture!
Aurora starting kindergarten was definitely one of the biggest highlights of the month. Congrats, Miss Aurora! We're proud of you for being so excited to start your new adventure!
