DARWIN is on his 12th year of teaching, currently at Springville High School teaching astronomy, geology, environmental science, and physics. He also teaches physics at UVU for a 7 week STEM summer school program for junior high students. He also teaches teenagers in our church ward. He's super busy, but still makes time to be an awesome dad and husband.
Oh, man! It makes me so sad to type that my baby is 11 months old. It'll be even worse in a few weeks when she's a whole year old. We won't even go there right now.
At ELEVEN months:
-Savannah is so precious. She has the sweetest little personality, but she can be feisty at times too, especially when she knows what she wants and when she wants it!
-She grew 4 new teeth over the last month and now has a total of 8 teeth--4 on top and 4 on bottom.
-She learned how to clap when we were at the University of Montana Lady Griz b-ball game (more to come on that later).
-She can blow kisses.
-She can say "Rora", in addition to the other words she says.
-She can sign "more" and "all done".
-She can balance and stand really well.
-She can walk when she's holding on to something, and I've seen her take 1 step a couple times before she sits down.
-She is our little sunshine. She's always so happy and especially loves to giggle and laugh at Aurora.
-She waves and blows kisses to Daddy when he leaves for work, and when she hears his key in the door when he comes home.
-She loves her Daddy and her big sister, but she's definitely a Momma's girl.
-She's almost 100% on formula (and big people food) now.
-She HATES getting her nails clipped, or getting her nose wiped.
-She thinks it's pretty cool to drop things behind her dresser/changing table when we're changing her.
-She knows our daily routine and likes to stick with it. Sunday's are hard when we have to go to church during her afternoon nap time, but she usually does pretty good anyway. She gets really wiggly when she's tired. She has a really hard time sleeping at church because she loves her bed so much.
-She is an angel when it comes to going to sleep for naps or bed time. We just lay her in her crib awake and she falls asleep on her own every time!
-She LOVES fruits and veggies and will choose to eat them over meat any day.

-She's starting to "sing" on her own a little more.
-She loves to dance and bounce around with Aurora.
-She loves to watch and copy everything Aurora does--good and bad sometimes.
-Her hair is barely long enough to do piggy tails!
-We're pretty sure her hair will stay dark and we think it's going to end up being curly like Aurora's.
