Aurora loved playing soccer so much last year that she wanted to do it again this year. Darwin loved coaching her so much last year that he volunteered/requested to be her coach again this year. Good times for everyone!
Our team shirts this year were a deep red color and the kids wanted their team name to be "Sharks Blood", and so it was. We always got a funny reaction from the opposing team when they asked our team name so they could do their team cheer at the end of the game.
Go, Sharks Blood! :)

August 24th was the first game of the season and she had games every Wednesday and Saturday through the end of September. Soccer season is always fun and busy, and we love it! Get ready for a whole bunch of pictures of Aurora playing soccer!
Opening game kick-off!
Aurora made 3 goals within the first 5 minutes of the first game. She was on fire! A great way to start off the season!
Savannah was really good to watch from the sidelines and cheer on her sister, even though she really wanted to be in there playing with her. She'll be old enough to play soccer next year. Yay!
Aurora got to play with her good friend, Mr. P, again this year.
Talmage thinks soccer is pretty great. Or at least the soccer balls are fun to play with and/or try to eat :)
He's such a little cutie!
August 27 - Game #2
I didn't get any pictures of Aurora playing in the game this time, but I did get pictures of some of the cute spectators :)
Miss Q.
Talmage was so cute sitting in Q's chair! :)
So cozy and intent while watching the game.
August 31 - Game #3
Coach Daddy, Aurora, Oliver, and Mr. P
Showing me some cool tricks with the ball :)
Savannah was able to go out and kick the ball with the team during their 5 minute half-time. She always looked forward to half-time :)
Playing with the cones.
Savy: "I can see you, Mom."
Team huddle at the end of the game.
It was comical to watch the kids stay in a "straight line" to give the other team high-five's at the end of each game. It always made us laugh :)
September 7 - Game #4
The best picture I got at this game was of our good looking coach :)
After the game we came home and ate corn chowder in pumpkin shaped/colored bread bowls. We got a thumbs up from Aurora!
And a reluctant thumbs up from Savannah :)
September 10 - Game #5
Rori, Daddy, and Mr. P ready to play!
Love this shot :)
Talmage had fun playing with R. She made him laugh pretty hard :)
This was the game Aurora got to play against her friend, Wade. We miss living close to all our friends at the condos!
September 14 - Game #6
The very next game, Aurora got to play against her friend,Tara! They were pretty well matched skill-wise. It was fun to watch them play against each other.
Tara and Rori
Silly girls :)
September 17 - Game #7
We had a special spectator at this game! Aunt Georgiana was in town!
After the game we took Aunt Geo to see where we're planning to build our house. There's not much there right now, but we did see a deer running across the plots :)
September 21 - Game #8
Talmage being overly content with a soccer ball watching the kids play :)
Miss Q was super happy about the sticks she found :)
It was special to see a rainbow towards the end of this game!
September 24 - Game #9
This was Aurora's last Saturday game. Our family from up north came down to watch her, and it was the rainiest game of the season! I felt bad that it was so cold and rainy that day, but we got through it and enjoyed watching Aurora play. Savannah had lots of fun jumping in rain puddles!
Handsome Hyrum
We made sure Talmage was warm and cozy!
Snuggled up with Grampsie
Nanny was snuggled up too :)
September 28 - Game #10 - Last game!
Daddy was extremely disappointed he couldn't be there to coach Aurora's last game because he had to be at Parent Teacher Conferences for work. One of the other parents stepped in to substitute, but we were sad that Daddy wasn't there.
Rori and Mr P warming up before the game.
