7.11.11 - 6 months!

Yep. 6 months already! We can hardly believe it. Our lives have changed so much over the last 6 months but in a very positive way. We love being parents to this beautiful little girl!

Rori's 6 month stats:
Weight: 14 lbs 10 oz (21%)
Length: 25 in (22%)
Head: 40 cm (1%)

She's still our teeny little bobbin but at least she is growing :) She's been pretty cranky since getting her immunizations yesterday but it doesn't help that she's teething either. We still can't see anything coming through her gums yet, but she's definitely working on those little pearly whites.
At 6 months:
-She's such a serious baby, but very happy and mellow.
-She's can sit really well on her own for a while but we still watch her pretty close because she's not a happy camper when she falls backwards.
-She loves taking baths in the big bathtub--tons more space for kicking and splashing water at Mom & Dad.
-She wore shoes for the first time last week!
-She's really starting to migrate on the floor and can push herself up really well too. We're going to have a crawler on our hands before we know it!
-She can push herself backwards, forwards, and in circles with her scooting.
-Rori's syllables: mama, dada, papa, baba, yaya, and wawa. We swear she's trying to say her name sometimes when she says "A-wa-wa." So cute :) And a couple weeks ago when she was hungry I was working on getting her bottle together and she kept saying over and over, "Mama, baba. Mama, baba." Smart little girl!
-She loves when we "eat" her ribs. She can't help but laugh even when she's fussy.
-She doesn't mind the grass and can sit better in it than just on the floor. She sat for 10 minutes straight a few days ago in the grass without me needing to catch her!
-We think she's taking after Mom & Dad in the sleep talking arena. We've caught her babbling to herself in her sleep a couple times.
-She usually wakes up pretty happy and we love waking up to her cute little voice talking to the little lady bug on her crib bumper. Such a little sweetheart.
