(And . . . two days later after even more photo frustration with no success. . . . THANK YOU, LORA for your help! You're an angel!)
----------------------------------------------------------------------We hope you all had as wonderful of a Thanksgiving as we did! With so very many things to be grateful for this year, we were blessed again to eat Thanksgiving dinner with both of our families. My family had priority this year, but my dad ended up having to work Thanksgiving day so my family got together on Wednesday.
Some friends in our ward gave us their toddler bed and Aurora, Minnie and Mickey had to check it out before we headed north.
Gramps was the master chef this year. Good job, Dad!
He had to make sure the humongous home-grown turkey actually fit in the oven :)
We occupied our time participating in various activities while the delicious food was cooking.
Shannon brought stuff to decorate cookies
Hannah and her cookie
Aurora sure wasn't shy with the sprinkles!
Liam's cookie cracked me up. Love the pile of candy corn and chocolate chips on that cookie!
Poor Koda wasn't feeling well - she had an ear infection with the fever to go along with it, but luckily she still participated in some of the festivities.
Aurora was pretty much in heaven for a while when Gramps gave her this gigantic pickle! :)
The grandkids ready for dinner!
My sister, Shannon, and I are both expecting babies, just 8 weeks apart.
Shannon - 30 weeks (having a boy)
Me - 22 weeks (having a girl, in case you missed that info some how ;) )
Thanksgiving Day
Dar's sister, Georgiana, came into town for Thanksgiving from Pittsburgh
and it was great to be able to eat with his family too on Thursday.
Lucky us! Two Thanksgiving dinners again, and fortunately not on the same day this year.
We didn't join Dar's family until after Rori's nap time and she filled up some of her morning time with some good "Punzel" watching when we got sick of the Thanksgiving Day parade--I was SO disappointed with it this year I had to turn it off :( Dar and I were working on moving our computer to our bedroom anyway to make room for another little angel in our house, so it was nice to have Aurora distracted with her favorite movie while we worked.
I guess she had a good nap because she woke up all sweaty, with crazy hair, and awesome lines on her face :)
When we got to Bampa and Gamma's house Aurora helped Daddy and Aunt Jana make the fruit salad. She really did a great job peeling those clementines!
It was great to see you, Geo!
And after dinner Daddy and Aurora spent some time shooting pool together.
Love Dar's face in this one :)
She had smashed her finger and was telling Dar about it. Love the face :)
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!
