My handsome hubby tilling the garden--again--to dig up the weeds :)
We waited in the shade until he was done, and had a little photo shoot
Our beautiful girls
Rori LOVES her baby sister!
I captured a little smile--not nearly as good as her awesome big smiles though!
Love those beautiful blue eyes!
I think Aurora is a water magnet, and I love that she's standing IN the bucket WITH the water, pouring it out into the can. Silly girl.
Dar put her to work helping him water the starts after he got them in the ground
It didn't last long. Making a mud puddle is WAY more fun!
And stepping in it is even better.
Leaving the puddle to get . . .
. . . more water!
Yeah, that's better.

Needless to say, we had to hose her down before getting in the car. The cold water probably would have felt better if it had been a bit warmer outside, but she survived :)
Garden planting memories from 2013:
-Daddy had to refill the 5 gallon bucket with water 3 times because Aurora kept dumping the water out into the dirt.
-Every time we told Aurora to step over a row she'd step right on top of it
-Mommy didn't get to help with the planting much because Savannah just wanted to be held. Once Gamma and Papa got back from doing their Memorial Day things and could help with the girls, the planting went much faster.
-We saw a bunch of teeny tiny baby spiders and a bunch of baby crickets (or grass hoppers) too!
-When Papa was done counting tomato plants to see how many more tomato cages we needed, Aurora yelled, "Good job, Papa!" We're glad Papa knows how to count :)
-We learned that gardening with kids isn't perfect, but we wouldn't have it any other way!

This ALMOST makes me wish we would plant a garden. :)
