Last year my friend, Alycia, told me about the Alpine Living Nativity. We went for the first time last year and loved it! This year we were able to get some friends to come with us. I was a little bit late on reserving our tickets so our ticket time was pretty late, 8:30pm! We made it work because it's worth it. Last Friday (Dec. 2nd), we all got together for a delicious soup dinner and got to sit and visit for a while before caravaning up to the nativity. We're so blessed to have such great friends!
We rushed through it a little faster this year because we had such a late start time and because it was already past our kids bedtimes.
To start off with, we were welcomed by some shepherds who told us the reason why so many people gathered to Bethlehem--to be taxed.
We were greeted by a camel! :)
Savannah pet the donkey but Aurora didn't care to.
Savy petting some more donkeys with Jimmy and Whitney.
Our awesome Aussies!
Listening to the Wise Men
As we waited in line to see Baby Jesus we got to listen to some beautiful caroling voices.
Joseph, Mary, and Baby Jesus
Our crew :)
Thanks for coming with us, friends!
Us and our tired girls
(Talmage slept in the stroller the whole time we were there)
We had some yummy hot chocolate at the very end and then said good-bye to our friends and took our tired kids home and put them in bed. This nativity is a great way for our family to kick off the Christmas season and a new favorite tradition!
