12.07.16 - Gingerbread House
Our girls get very excited about the holidays. Maybe because their parents also get very excited about the holidays?! Making a gingerbread house was on the "must-do" list for the girls this year.
Getting started on their beautiful creation!

Getting started on their beautiful creation!
Talmage joined the fun by softening up a tube of icing :)
Daddy helped Savannah decorate a gingerbread man.
Cuties!
And then he helped Aurora with her gingerbread man too.
Sillies!
Happy girls and their happy daddy!
Daddy is so silly :)
Dad and Talmage!
Busy working/creating.
Talmage held on to that tube of red icing the whole time :)
Our awesome house coming together!
The finished product! I'm pretty sure we only ate about 10% of it. Haha!
12.09.17 - Faculty Christmas Party
Talmage got to come with us to Daddy's faculty Christmas party and then Mom's work party too. Lucky kid! And the girls got to go hang out with our Aussies. They're pretty lucky too!
At Dad's work party they had a fun Christmas photo booth set up. Talmage thought the props were pretty cool and he made them look pretty darn cute too!
12.13.16 - Hot chocolate and ornaments
Aunt Georgiana sent us some darling matching Christmas aprons for our whole family! We all loved them, but the girls especially did. They've been wearing them a lot!
They come in super handy when drinking hot chocolate for after-school-snack to ensure they keep their clothes nice :)
Silly girls :)
Daddy pulled out his old fiber optic Christmas tree to keep in the basement, and to take to school for his work Christmas party. The girls loved playing with the Christmas ornaments for that tree!
They're so silly!
12.15.16 - Sending Christmas Cards
A few years ago we finally buckled down and started sending out Christmas cards. Darwin took time to write up a really great Christmas letter to go along with our cards this year. We do enjoy sending cards, but it is a lot of work! We enlisted the girls to help us, which they were very excited about and very willing to help.
Aurora was given the job of envelope sealer, and she was happy to do it!
Savannah got to help me put the sticker labels and stamps on the envelopes.
She wanted to do it all by herself but Mommy had to help her a little bit.
Our sweet Talley-man was so great to sit contently and wait for us to get done. How'd we get so lucky to have such a great baby?
12.21.16 - Decorating Christmas Cookies
I was lucky enough to be able to help out with Aurora's kindergarten class Christmas party. I brought sugar cookies for the kids to decorate and we had a bunch of cookies left over so the girls got the chance to decorate more Christmas cookies at home!
Very excited to dig in!
Our handsome Talmage! :)
Savannah created some awesome Christmas cookies!
Rori's cookies turned out great too!
So many fun things to do at Christmas time!
