It's become a family tradition for us to decorate for Christmas right after Thanksgiving. Our kids are always super excited to get out the Christmas decorations. I can't blame them. I love Christmas too!
Darwin fluffing the tree branches
(Yep, we haven't plunged into the real tree tradition yet)
What kid doesn't love a box you can fit inside? Especially if you can fit inside it at the same time as your sister! ;)
Very carefully placing the tree in the corner :)
Look at those cute, silly kiddos!
Our tree is getting a bit older--we've had it for about 10 years now--and we had a couple of branches with lights that didn't work this year. Darwin sat for a while attempting to fix the lights and got most of them working again. Great job, baby!
He also pulled out his old fiber optic tree for us to keep down in the basement. It's been really nice to have some Christmas cheer down there too! The kids all definitely loved watching this tree change colors.
A baby's first Christmas is always fun. I loved how enthralled Talmage was with the Christmas tree :)
Decorating Christmas trees is what little girls do best at Christmas time!
Happy girls!
The Christmas star is always a special thing :)
Our sweet Talmage exploring around the tree.
I love our Christmas tree always, but especially at night!
Savannah liked to create clusters of ornaments, right where Talmage could reach them. We had to do a little bit of adjusting and tweaking with the girls ornament placements :)
Aurora was pretty good this year with making sure the ornaments were spread out and placed nicely.
Bug eyes!
Our Elf on the Shelf came back! Our favorite place we've found him is riding the rooster Grandma and Grandpa brought back from their mission. Silly elf!
