I can't believe how time flies! I feel like Savannah came up on two years faster than Aurora did, but I've heard time seems to fly faster with each kid you have.
Savannah's birthday was on a Sunday this year. Our beautiful birthday girl ready to head out the door!
Her favorite silly face!
The girls helped Daddy with Savannah's cupcakes after church. They're very good helpers!
Savannah LOVES to lick the beaters. Haha!
I was going to post a picture of her going potty on the toilet but decided I probably shouldn't post it on our blog. She's getting to be such a big girl! We've decided to hold off on potty training for a while though. We're still trying to recover from our experience with Aurora.
Daddy always does such a great job with the girls cakes. I'm glad he likes doing it because it's definitely not one of my strong points.
Sunday evening we invited some friends and family to join us for dinner and cake and ice cream at Darwin's parents house to celebrate Savannah turning two with us. We had to get a pinata, thanks to the Torres family introducing our girls to the awesomeness of pinatas :)
Eating some dinner!
(We had a salad bar)
Getting ready to whack the pinata!
Daddy getting it set up in the tree!
Savannah got to go first!
She needed a little help with the bat.
Bard was happy to man the rope for us :)
"Candies!"--as Savannah says!
Dar sneaked in a couple pictures of Bard (his best friend from growing up. Bard and his family just moved closer to us again after being down in southern Utah for many years).
Getting ready to sing to the birthday girl!
"Cheese!"
It's fuzzy but she was helping everyone sing "Happy Birthday" to her. I thought it was cute that she was singing along :)
Time to open presents!
I love this picture of our little sweetie :)
Bard and Kerri and their family gave her a great big pink fluffy bunny. She LOVES it!
We gave her a zebra pillow pet. She had been taking Aurora's giraffe pillow pet so much we decided it was time to get her one of her own :) She calls her zebra a giraffe though. Haha!
She didn't seem to care for the new clothes we gave her for her cabbage patch baby she got for Christmas. Her lack of expression cracks me up :)
She got a helmet so she can be safe when she rides her bike and other fun things. She was pretty excited about her helmet!
Cute baby Whitney--had to stick this one in there!

Savy's BFF, Mia
Bard was caught in the act of playing with Savy's new toys :)
The kiddos had fun checking out the goods too!
Kerri was a great trooper and took video of the birthday festivities for us. Thanks, Kerri!
Aurora with a party blower
We got a height tracker for Christmas and it's been fun to measure the girls on their birthdays. They think it's pretty fun too!
Savannah's TWO YEAR stats:
Weight: 32.2 pounds (96%)
Length: 35inches (87%)

At TWO YEARS:
-Savannah's favorite song still is "I love to see the temple". She rarely lets me sing anything else to her. I think it's cute.
-She knows who the Angel Moroni is and that he blows a trumpet. She gets very excited every time we drive past a temple. We're very blessed to live so close to so many temples!
-She also gets very excited when she sees a church outside her window when we're in the car and yells "Church!" as loud as she can so we all know she saw one :)
-Savannah loves nursery--most weeks. Sometimes she wants Mommy to stay with her for a little bit if I'm the one who drops her off.
-She is getting really good at repeating scriptures when we read every night. Her vocabulary has increased immensely since we started having her repeat scriptures. We feel like she has become less shy since we started having her repeat scriptures too. She has blossomed so much!
-Whenever she decides she likes something she tells us it's her "favorite". It's adorable.
-She discovered Barney on Netflix and has to watch it every day when I shower. She loves singing along with all the fun songs but her favorite is the "I love you" song and she can sing the whole thing by herself now.
-She calls ducks "quackies". I love it!
-She likes to make "goofy eyes" at us and she half closes her eyelids and rolls her eyes back. It's really more creepy than goofy :)
-The stork kiss on her forehead is still visible when she makes certain facial expressions or when she's mad or crying
-Her awesome laugh that everyone loved so much is gone :( She really has to force it now so it's not quite as cute. It's amazing that she did it naturally for so long though!
-She is quite the little singer and loves to sing along with songs she knows. I love listening to her sing.
-We've recently had people start asking us if our girls are twins because the girls are fairly close to the same size. Aurora is about 6 inches taller than Savannah right now but they weigh about the same.
-Savannah can share most of Aurora's clothes now, but some of them end up being a little long.
-She still loves her favorite bunny, Hopson, or "Bop" as she calls her most of the time, and her favorite blanket.
-She refuses to drink cold milk still and we still spoil her and warm it up for her. It gets a little annoying at times though. Haha!
-She is getting really good at navigating and playing on the iPad and iPod.
-Her favorite show on TV is Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and her favorite movie is Frozen. Anna and Olaf are her favorite.
-She is a pro at pouting and when she pouts around other people they always comment to us about her pouting skills. She's hilarious!
-She is such a joy to be around and her laugh is contagious. We can't help but laugh too when we hear her giggle.
-She is a tease and a jokester and we love having her around.
Happy birthday, our Savannah Belle!
We love you!!
