DARWIN is on his 12th year of teaching, currently at Springville High School teaching astronomy, geology, environmental science, and physics. He also teaches physics at UVU for a 7 week STEM summer school program for junior high students. He also teaches teenagers in our church ward. He's super busy, but still makes time to be an awesome dad and husband.
On July 13th we had a ward ice cream social because our ward boundaries just changed. We lost some people and gained others. The young men and young women arranged water balloon activities for the primary kids that ended up being a big water fight that involved all ages. The girls had a great time!
They were able to toss balloons back and forth to each other for a while before the big water fight broke out.

Haircuts!
Savannah had about 3 inches cut off her hair. She has beautiful hair! This is the before picture.

After Savannah was done it was Aurora's turn. She got about 5 inches cut off! I forgot to take a before picture :(

At the beginning of June, Aurora was being a sweetheart and was on her way to the front porch to ask Daddy if he wanted a popsicle. After an unfortunate mishap, she slammed her pinky in the front door and bruised her pinky nail really good. After a while she noticed her pinky nail was loose and we figured it would probably fall off at some point. On July 21st we were able to go to the airport to surprise my cousin, Alice and her kids at the airport when they were flying in from Japan. It was so fun to see them and even more fun to surprise them at the airport because they didn't know we would be coming. But, while we were at the airport Aurora's pinky nail finally fell off. I'll be the first to admit it was pretty gross. She thought it was hilarious every time I told her she had a gross fingernail :)

Savannah is our good sleeper. She still takes naps every now and then, and I love it that she does! It's not uncommon for her to just disappear in the late afternoon and we eventually find her asleep somewhere around the house. One day I found her sleeping underneath her bed. It's way more fun to sleep underneath the bed than up on top :)

We like to look for shapes in the clouds when we're outside and when we're driving. We thought this cloud looked a bit like a pirate ship. Savy couldn't see it from where she was sitting in the car so I took a picture of it for her.
