Honey Harvest 2015

We went ahead and bought our own honey extractor this year.  We figured it would be a good investment because we don't plan on getting rid of our hives any time soon.  It's a small, 3-frame extractor, but it worked like a charm!

Happy Rori!  She's such a cute girl.  I promise I'm not biased ;)

Over the last few years our bees haven't done as well as we hoped, but this year they did great!  We had two hives that both did really well and we ended up with twice as much honey as we have in the past.

We were pretty excited about our honey crop this year :)  If anyone wants to buy some raw, local honey, let us know!
